Chivione version 0.3.0a


Changes:

  • Created shader for legs, hair and bodies (for demonstration I and K change the hair colour)
  • Added a Zelda style health system for the player, health decreasing in quarters of a heart
  • Enemies drop coins when killed
  • Coins are drawn to player when nearby
  • Counter for the number of coins the player has the the GUI
  • Added sword attack animations in four directions (arrow keys)
  • Fixed breaking the game by pressing the arrow keys in the Hull and Ship Deck
  • Added spawn zones for enemies
  • Added a much more immersive way of getting to the port
  • Player dies when health is drained
  • Changed water texture while at sea
  • Removed waves while at sea (I am going to work on the assets and possibly bring them back later)

Notes:

  • Some of the assets are still placeholders (GUI, Enemies)
  • To get to the port sleep in the bed you spawn next to at the start of the game, this will make time pass and the boat will arrive at the port
